Lindsey Caroline Vonn, born October 18, 1984, in St. Paul, Minnesota, is an American alpine skier known for excelling in downhill and super-G disciplines. She began skiing at age 2 and moved to Vail, Colorado, at 7 for training. Vonn debuted in the World Cup at 16 in 2000, winning her first race in 2004. Her achievements include four overall World Cup titles (2008–2010, 2012), 20 downhill wins (a women's record), 82 World Cup victories (second all-time), and three world championships (2009, 2011, 2013). She earned Olympic gold in downhill at Vancouver 2010 and bronze in super-G at Pyeongchang 2018. Vonn retired in 2019 after multiple injuries and surgeries.
Post-retirement, Vonn works as an NBC Olympics presenter, producer, and author of the 2022 autobiography "Rise." She founded the Lindsey Vonn Foundation to support children and animals, launched a clothing brand, and invests in women's sports. Active on Instagram with over 2 million followers, she shares insights into her training and personal life. Vonn was married to Thomas Vonn (2008–2011), dated Tiger Woods (2013–2015), and is currently with soccer player John Cameron (since 2023). She has no children.
