Chloe Kim, born April 23, 2000, in Long Beach, California, is an American snowboarder of Korean descent and a highly decorated athlete in the sport. She started skating at age 4 and won her first US Junior National Championship at 6. Kim debuted in adult competitions in 2013 at age 13 and became the Olympic halfpipe champion in 2018 at 17, performing a 1080. She defended her title at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, becoming a two-time Olympic gold medalist. Her career includes 4 World Championship golds (2019, 2021, 2023) and 6 X Games victories, setting a record in women’s halfpipe events.
Kim is active on Instagram, sharing training, fashion, travel, and brand collaborations with Nike, Burton, Monster Energy, and Tiffany & Co.
