Lindsey Vonn, born October 18, 1984, in St. Paul, Minnesota, is an American alpine skier known for excelling in speed disciplines such as downhill and super-G. She began skiing at age 2 and moved to Vail, Colorado, at 7 to train. Vonn debuted in the World Cup at 16 in 2000 and claimed her first victory in 2004. Her career highlights include four overall World Cup titles (2008–2010, 2012), 20 downhill wins (a women's record), 82 World Cup race wins (second all-time), Olympic gold in downhill (Vancouver 2010), bronze in super-G (Pyeongchang 2018), and three world championships in downhill (2009, 2011, 2013). She retired in 2019 due to multiple injuries and surgeries.
After retiring, Vonn became a TV presenter for NBC Olympics, produced content, founded the Lindsey Vonn Foundation supporting children and animals, published her autobiography Rise in 2022, launched a clothing brand, and invested in women's sports. She maintains an active Instagram presence with over 2 million followers. Vonn was married to Thomas Vonn (2008–2011), dated Tiger Woods (2013–2015), and is currently with soccer player John Cameron since 2023. She has no children.
