Yulia Volkova, born January 20, 1985, in Moscow, is a Russian singer and actress known as a former member of the group t.A.T.u. She began music and theater training early and joined t.A.T.u. at age 15 in 2000 alongside Lena Katina. The group achieved global success with hits like "All the Things She Said" and "Not Gonna Get Us," released albums 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane and Dangerous and Moving, and placed third in Eurovision 2003. t.A.T.u. sold millions of records worldwide and gained attention for their provocative image.
After t.A.T.u. disbanded in 2009, Volkova launched a solo career, releasing albums This Is Who I Am (2012) and Девочка-война (2016), along with various singles and international collaborations.
