After living in Mexico and learning Spanish, she graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School in 2007. Kashtanova made her debut in Detectives (2006) and gained recognition for her role as Kristina in Policeman from Rublevka (2016–2021). Her other notable works include Thaw, Wolf Sun, and Resort Romance.
