He began his career streaming Minecraft before shifting to live streams featuring parties, gambling, and giveaways, which garnered millions of views and substantial donations. Between 2020 and 2021, he ranked among the top three Russian-speaking streamers by online presence and income. Raised in a modest family, he briefly studied electrical engineering before dropping out to focus on streaming.
In October 2020, Mellstroy faced a major scandal when he was caught on live stream assaulting model Alina, leading to criminal charges.
