Lesya Ryabtseva, born July 28, 1991, in Volgograd, is a Russian journalist and radio host known for her provocative approach. She moved to Moscow at age five and studied journalism at the Russian State University for the Humanities but did not graduate. Ryabtseva began her media career in 2011 as an intern at Echo of Moscow, later becoming a guest producer and assistant to editor-in-chief Alexei Venediktov. After resigning in 2013 and returning in 2014, she left in 2015 to pursue independent projects. In 2016, she led Ksenia Sokolova's election campaign, and in 2017, she reached the final three in the TV show The Bachelor with Ilya Glinnikov.
