Karolina Sevastyanova, born on April 25, 1995, in Kiev and raised in Moscow, is a Russian Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics, winning the group all-around at the London 2012 Olympics. She also holds titles as a European and Youth Olympic Games champion. Starting gymnastics at age five, her talent was nurtured under coach Irina Viner. Sevastyanova retired from gymnastics at 17 during the peak of her career.
